William Hore and (Rebecca) Margaret Seymour
William Hore was the seventh child and third son of John and Elizabeth Hore. He was born in 1824 when the family lived at Upper Minto (now Mount Annan). (Rebecca) Margaret Seymour was the sixth child and third daughter of Thomas Seymour and Mary Higgins. She was born in 1827 and her place of birth is listed as Lower Minto. William was the son of a convict and the grandson of an English soldier. Margaret was the daughter of a convict and the granddaughter of a convict and an English soldier.
Margaret married Martin Gralis in Wollongong in 1845 and had a daughter, Bridget. Martin Gralis died in 1847 and she married William Hore in Wollongong on 14 February 1848. Bridget Gralis married and had a very large family and was 98 when she died in Albury, having apparently been raised along with her nine half brothers and sisters.
William and Margaret moved progressively south throughout their marriage, from Dapto to Talgarno. When William died in 1890, aged 63, his residence was listed as Wagra. Margaret (Margaret) died in 1891 and they are both buried in Albury cemetery.
